Measuring correctly

Determine the correct jacket size:

1. Chest circumference: The chest circumference is measured at the fullest part of the chest while breathing normally and standing upright. The measuring tape should run along the back at the shoulder blades, without constricting or hanging down too loosely.
2. Waist size: The waist is located between the lower ribs and the top of the hip bones. The width is measured at the narrowest part of the waist, with normal breathing and an upright posture.
3. Hip circumference: The hip circumference corresponds to the width of the buttocks at their fullest point.

Determine the correct trouser size:

4. Inner leg length: The inner leg length or crotch length is also measured on a pair of well-fitting trousers. The seam on the inside leg is measured from the seam cross in the crotch to the end of the trouser leg.
5. Waist size: The waist size is measured on a pair of trousers that already fit well. To do this, lay the trousers flat on a table, waistband edge to waistband edge, so that the button is on the left and the back seam is on the right. The measuring tape is placed on the top edge and this value is compared with the table.
